Angels
Have you had a visitation from the heavenly hosts?
If you have recently been at a protest, conscious party or a SPEAK gathering then you may have been visited by a SPEAK angels. SPEAK angels bless with heavenly gifts, messages and quotes of inspiration to keep up the spirits of activists in the struggle. We aim to spread love around the scene and to locate the spiritual source for strength in the struggle for global justice and against environmental degradation.
Here are the angels below. If you have been visited by one of them you can keep in touch:
The Angel Of Welcome And Hospitality.
This angel loves the welcome, she loves making people feel the welcome of friendship, the hug of peace, acknowledging the need for us all to know how unique and special we all are.
This angel enjoys making cups of tea, listening to the joys and woes of others, and bringing hope to others.
Hospitality is a gift that we all carry, the ability to make people feel welcome in any space, the hospitality of the heart welcomes others into communion, with another and the divine.
Have a go at serving and smiling at the grumpy, the needy, the upset, spread the warmth, and watch it grow........
Love, its the most potent force out there.
The Angel Of Gratitude (Ooniemme)
I am Ooniemme because hopefully it communicates how grateful I am to God. Grateful that he knows me, knows the good stuff and the bad stuff but yet loves me all the same.
Grateful too that he has a plan and purpose just for me, so that I can have a life in all it's fullness :-)
The Angel of Encounters
Encounters...with each other, with God, with the world, with faith, culture, ideas. I love trying to get people to chat, to laugh, to listen, to exchange, to disagree, to cooperate, to share thoughts...it's so much better when we're functioning as parts of a body and not in isolation. My conviction is always we need to try to understand each other more rather than judge, walk a mile in someone else's shoes before we criticise from where we're sitting...
The Angel of Shalom
[insert image here]
The hebrew concept of peace - known as Shalom - describes a wholeness of being, which involves living in harmony with God, one another, His created world and ourselves. As a mark of God's Kingdom it is something we pursue and, by God's grace, embody more and more each day. I would like to encourage others to know Jesus who brings this Shalom- which gives healing and wholeness.
