What Speak Does

51 of the world's 100 biggest economies are Multinational Enterprizes - they are richer, and often more powerful than governments. The problem with this is, governments, in theory, are there for the good of their people. Companies are there to make money. We are campaigning for laws in the UK and Europe that make companies accountable for the way they treat people and the environment, wherever they operate. Decision makers have been telling us recently that they need to hear the voice of normal people, not just businesses. If you've got some spare time over the summer, why not use it to make a real difference?

SPEAK Groups meet together regularly for action and prayer. They take campaigning and prayer further by organising campaigns to raise awareness of global injustice in their local area. They motivate people to demand change from decision makers whilst also acting as a catalyst for mobilising people to pray.
