In Swaziland a cramped dusty factory produces denim jeans for a British company which supplies several well known labels found in High Street shops. There are 27 women and 3 men who produce around 450 pairs of jeans every day. They each receive US$44.57, the equivalent of around £24.50 every fortnight which is £12.25 a week, for 10 hours every day: 24.5p every hour for jeans that you might pay between £30 and £40 next time you go shopping.
