The Big Dress has become the most visibly creative expression of SPEAK's Trade Justice campaign, as well as being a tool which has involved many people who might not normally think twice about justice in trade. The Big Dress is acting almost as a gateway into the wider trade campaign, engaging people at a level to which they can easily relate (everyone wears clothes!), and drawing them in to the fundamental problems of unjust global trade (which what SPEAK's trade campaign goals highlight). This will continue as the Big Dress grows and is sewn together and is used as a marquee for campaign, educational, prayer events, lobbying and a national tour facilitated by SPEAK groups!
