• First and foremost thank God for the amazing people involved in SPEAK, the time and energy they give to spreading a concern for God’s heart for justice locally and for making the campaigns successful nationally!
• Please pray for the local groups and their development. Pray that they would grow deeper in knowledge and understanding of God’s heart for justice and be able to develop campaign actions that get others involved. Pray also that they would seek to live out SPEAK’s Core Values and be confident in sharing those with others.
• Please pray for our finances. It’s a difficult time for many charities and small groups and we are struggling to keep everything going. Please pray for an increased army of Loudspeakers – our regular givers who make SPEAK sustainable – and for larger grants and donations to help us keep campaigning. Pray also that SPEAK staff who raise personal support are confident and blessed in doing so.
• Thank God for the many people who input into national events and projects through, Flower Model, the participatory forum, and as volunteers for events. Thank God for their energy, skills and gifts, and the friendships that grow to make the network a real network of relationships.
• And finally, please pray for Soundcheck and the Day of Action which are approaching fast. Please pray that they bring together many students and young adults passionate about justice and act as a catalyst for more prayer and action throughout the year.
