Could you help by fundraising locally? Connecting campaigns and fundraising can really help spread the campaign message too and get people involved! From sponsored actions, like a sponsored silence, to benefit gigs, there are plenty of ways you can fundraise and raise money and awareness about our corporate accountability campaign.

    1. Hold a sponsored silence: Choose a day and gather sponsors. On your chosen day, tape your mouth up and make a sign saying “I’m not speaking because too many people are kept silent in the chain of corporate injustice” – or your own words. Order Pray & Post cards and other campaign resources from the Network Support Team to hand out to people you meet. Collect your sponsor money, thank your sponsors, and send it off to SPEAK.
    2. Put on a Music Speaks night: If you have friends who are musicians or DJs, or know any sympathetic to justice, why not hold a Music Speaks night? Ask the artists to play for free in support of the campaign and then charge entry so you make some money as well as getting people involved in the campaign. Check out all the guidelines and contact the Network Support Team for help.
    3. Host a film night: You can make this a large or small event. SPEAK has several films about corporate abuse that you can borrow to show. Try to get the venue for free and charge entry so you fundraise at the same time. Prepare a good short talk about our campaign (info on the campaigns page) and get people to leave a message for the MP3 petition. Contact the Network Support Team for help
