Mobilisation for Vocal Training
Although we are not mobilising hundreds of people for this event, the process is similar to that of Soundcheck as we need to build up the sense fo the event happening in the Network, and invite key people.
Flyers
We produce Vocal Training flyers for Soundcheck so that we can give them out to get the next Network gathering in the diary. These are then used in the May mailing and at festivals over the summer.
Web and Email
These are used over the summer term and sumemr holidays to encourage people to come. Take them with you wherever you go!
Personal Invites
Inviting someone personally to Vocal Training is key. Because it is a small event, different from Soundcheck, explaining this to people and it's usefulness to them as a group leader, link person, campaigns link, faith link, or Flower Model member can be really helpful to them. If they see what they are part of by coming, it can result in increased commitment to the community of SPEAK. Search out others you think will benefit too!
Having less people at Vocal Training than Soundcheck, doesn't make this process any less strategic or important to get right. it still resquire our effort in planting seeds with people and following up interest until the bookings are made.
