On Monday 1st March 150 of you gathered in central London for a day of prophetic and political action. It was the first of many actions in our new "Defend Peace: Disarm Tax" campaign to end government support of the arms trade.

We repented for our nation's sins and covered a model tank in flowers and messages of peace outside DSO, the government's arms trading department, before giving them the flowers as a message of, and a petition for, peace.

We then met 15 MPs in Parliament, many of whom were genuinely supportive of the campaign. Andy Reed MP said "This is an important issue and we need to make sure MPs know that their constituents care about the level of disproportionate government support for the arms trade."

You can double the impact you had on by sending out press releases to your local media, thus raising awareness of the campaign in your local area.
